Gamate

Gamate (pronounced guh-mate) is a campaign designed to change Singaporean's perceptions of migrant workers. Despite being pillars to Singapore's infrastructure, they are a marginalised group often discriminated.

Aiming to bridge the gap between locals and the workers, the project highlights the invisibility and struggles of migrant workers, especially in light of COVID-19. It uses graphics to visualise their perspective and the effects of our actions on them.
